Detailed Itinerary

Day - 1: Arrive Delhi

Today you will arrive at the T3 terminal of International Airport of Delhi the major gateway city of India and starting point for the famous Golden Triangle tour. On arrival meet your pre arranged car & driver and get transferred to your pre booked hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day - 2: Delhi

Start your day with the breakfast at your hotel. Later tour the historical city & capital town of Delhi which always remained busy with the diplomatic affairs, the movement of VIPs protests, the road side dhabas, the prime time office hours. Delhi comprises of two parts the Mughal era walled city called Old Delhi which comprises of narrow lanes, bustling bazaars, Rickshaws, Red fort & Jama Masjid as major attractions and the other part as lutyens Delhi and called as New Delhi with broad roads, boulevards, parks & gardens, Presidents house, Parliament house, India gate, Boat club, museums, Diplomatic area, Qutub Minar, Lotus temple & recently built Akshardham temple, museums & Malls. Don’t forget a ride the newly introduced Metro train. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day - 3: Delhi - Jaipur (265 kms - 5 hrs)

Today after an early breakfast proceed towards the major city on Golden triangle Jaipur which is the capital state of Rajasthan, famous for its Jewellery & handicrafts and know as pink city also with colour on the building Pink . On arrival check in at the pre-arranged hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day - 4: Jaipur Cultural Tours

Awake lazily from your lull sleep. Later after your breakfast in hotel tour this colourfull city with an excursion to Amber Fort the former capital of Jaipur on a hillock overlooking the Jaipur city. It was Maharaja Jai Singh Ii who shifted his capital from Amber down to the plains & ordered his chief architect vidyadhar to build the first planned city of Jaipur. Don’t forget an Elephant ride from the foothills of the Aravallis to the fort entrance. Later in the afternoon at the City Palace Museum which is a blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. In the evening you can have your own choice to explore Jaipur at a glance. Take a cycle rickshaw ride through the busy streets of the city to get a feel of the city or just watch a movie at the famous Raj Mandir Cinema Hall. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day - 5: Jaipur - Agra (256 kms - 5/6 hrs)

Today after breakfast at your hotel proceed to Agra the most demanding place on the golden Triangle programme. Enroute stop at the abandoned capital city & palace of Mughal kingdom Fatehpur Sikri built by Akbar in 16th century. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal & other Palaces which are still preserved in its original glory. Later proceed to Agra. Check in at your pre-booked hotel. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day - 6 : Agra - Delhi (203 kms - 4 hrs)

After breakfast at your hotel be prepared for the visit to the most romantic monument of the world built by a king as a memorial to hes beloved wife as a token of love. The Taj Mahal was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Contruction of the Taj began in 1631 and was not completed until 1653. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. In the evening, transfer to the railway station to board train for Varanasi at 2105 hrs.Overnight in the train.

Day - 7: Agra - Delhi (203 kms - 4 hrs)

Today morning arrive at the Mughal Sarai railway station. Meet your car & driver and get transferred to your pre booked hotel in this sacred city of Varanasi, Situated on the banks of sacred Ganges. The city known for its pilgrimage & place of learning for over 2000 years and is considered as one of the oldest surviving cities in the world. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 8: Varanasi Pilgrimage Travel Trip

Early in the morning after hearty breakfast visit the Benaras Hindu University, Aurangzeb’s Mosque, boat excursion on the holy river "Ganges" to see the bathing Ghats and cremation site. In the evening watch the Aarti ceremony. The mixed charm will hypnotize you where you will see various fellow travelers taking part in the Aarti. Drive back to the hotel and enjoy a dinner at the hotel. Spend the night at Varanasi hotel.

Day 9: Delhi - Onward Destinations

Transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi. We sincerely hope that you take back many happy memories of India.
